Zartian Chrestianism
|
Zartian ChrestianismZartian Chrestianism is a project to create a form of the Zoroastrian religion which emphasizes its commonalities with the Jesuchristian (ie. Christian) tradition.Whereas Agathism is a philosophy, Zartian Chrestianism is unashamedly a religion which talks about a God, which we consider is, or should be, the same God worshipped by all - whether Jesuchristian or other tradition such as Islam. We also have a Holy Trinity which is recognisably similar to that known to Jesuchristians. However the main scripture of Zartian Chrestianism is the Zartigathas or Gospel of Zarathustra, rather than the Jesuchristian Bible. Nevertheless Zartian Chrestians (also known as Zorochristians) recognise themselves as being engaged on a common task with at least some Christians (especially those with a natural law approach) and seek to benefit from their wisdom as well as discovering for ourselves.
